HomeQuest offers over 60 floor plans and virtual tours for our customers to choose from and order online! Champion is one of several manufacturers in our database. These floor plans come in single-wide, double-wide and triple-wide homes. We can build you a house with many sections! Champion manufactured home floor plans also consist of parkland models and manufactured homes built to HUD building codes.
Park models are also known as Tiny Houses. Park Model homes are built to ANSI code. This corresponds to the RV code. Fleet models are even registered through the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Depending on your local ordinances, you may not need a permit to place a model park on your property. We advise you to contact your local building department to confirm permit regulations. Park models should be 399 sq. ft. or less. Manufactured homes built by Champion are 400 sq. ft. or larger.
Manufactured Home Floor Plans By Destiny Homes / Home Plans
Champion manufactured homes are more popular than parkland models. HUD homes are built to stricter building codes than the Park models. HomeQuest has several floor plans that you can choose from on our website. The most popular floor plans are “split floor plans”. Split floor plans have bedrooms at either end with the main living areas in the middle (kitchen, living room, dining room, utility room). Split floor plans have the best utilization of square footage compared to a “front loader”. The front loader is a home with the kitchen and living areas at the front of the house and a long hallway that leads you to the bedrooms at the back.

If you’re looking to buy a new manufactured home, it’s important to know how to read and understand manufactured and mobile home floor plans. While some mobile home dealers likely have homes on site that you can move through, they also likely have a variety of home models that you can purchase or customize. Familiarity with the floor plan will make it easier for you to understand the layout of the house when instructions are not an option.
Floor plans tell you about a house. This will certainly indicate the size of the house. But a good floor plan will also tell you the size of the rooms, how the doors open to those rooms, and even where the appliances are in the kitchen and bathroom. Familiarize yourself with these features, they will ensure you choose the best brand and model for your manufactured home.
Coolest Floor Plan Of Any Manufactured Homes I’ve Seen!
To begin, a floor plan is drawn from a bird’s eye view. This means that it is drawn from above – as if the roof had been removed and you were looking down on it. Here you can easily identify the main rooms. Take a look at the image below that shows a manufactured home with multiple sections.
To begin with, all walls are solid lines. (In some floor plans, they are filled with a pattern.) Breaks in these lines indicate doors, windows, and openings between rooms.
Can you find the front door? It’s in the living room. Imagine entering this house. You can see which areas of the floor are carpeted (in brown) and which areas are tiled (grid pattern). This home has what is considered an “open floor plan” – note that there is no wall between the living room and kitchen.
Also note that this mobile home has another door to the outside through the utility room. Notice how the doors are drawn. At the front door, the door swings into the living room. The back door swings out. It is certainly quite common. The reason this is important is that you can now see which way all the doors swing – and this can make a difference to where you plan to place your furniture.
