Interior Design Online Course Uk – Since we started interior design school last year, things have changed more than we could have imagined. We are once again offering small group and personal interior design courses at our Chelsea showroom. However, we understand that this is not for everyone. We’ve already had inquiries from entry-level interior designers across the UK and overseas looking for an online option. Now many of you don’t want or can’t travel to London, so we’re expanding Juliettes Design School to include an online interior design course. And best of all, if you book before September 6th, you can invite your friends for free!
To celebrate the launch of our first online course, our Early Bird buy one get one deal means you and a friend can join our autumn online decorating course for the price of one place. The class size is very small, so you have to be quick. We only have 6 seats available, so only 3 of these are Early Bird tickets in demand. Book by September 6, 2020 to secure a spot for you and your friend.

The course gives you the tools to plan floor plans, select furniture and soft furnishings, and create complementary lighting solutions. It allows you to realize personal projects, as well as providing a foundation for anyone considering interior design as a career. Your savings will more than cover the cost of any of our courses, and the account has no expiration date. You can use it again and again for every interior design project you undertake.

This study course consists of a series of more complex projects. It gives you an idea of light and color, materials, volume and volume. Projects range from planning temporary events to mapping the long-term reuse of buildings.
The first year introduces the principles of interior design. Recent projects include event planning for a 17th-century palace and the radical reuse of a former department store and decommissioned steelworks.
The aim of this module is to familiarize you with the principles of ideas and communication in interior design. You will participate in various projects, workshops, experiments and exercises to expand your knowledge, challenge preconceptions and stimulate confidence and risk-taking. Transfer this project work and other exercises appropriately through a range of newly acquired and developing visual communication skills. The focus of this module is on expanding creative vision and approach and developing basic communication skills that are the basis of interior design practice.
Spatial And Interior Design
This module presents the entire interior design process in context. It discusses the importance of research, observation, documentation, evaluation, idea generation, concept development, iteration and communication. It also introduces key aspects of interior design, including proportion, ergonomics, scale, function, form, structure and spatial arrangement. Conscious awareness and practice of all aspects of the design process is understood as a way to successfully develop project work from start to finish.
This module introduces you to the principle of the workshop and studio as an integrated creative environment for the interior designer. The workshop is seen as an extension of the design studio, with special spaces for certain activities, such as the 3D workshop and the digital media workshop. This principle is examined in the context of materials and construction and their impact on interior design through projects focused on physical (and digital) modeling. Digital modeling enables physical modeling, which is used to study materials and structures with the help of scale representations and the model’s own properties. They are judged on the aesthetics of the model and communication. The modeling process develops basic workshop skills and hones an awareness of detail.
The characteristics and properties of materials, production processes and technologies are also presented and studied. The module provides you with both key skills and subject context knowledge.
Through lectures, discussions and image-based studio visits, this module introduces the thematic history of designed spaces, which is particularly situated in the emergence of interior design in modern times. Topics include: relationships between design practices and professions, relationships between politics, work, craft and technology, taste and presentation, consumption and design, and concepts of space within and outside architecture. Each session aims to address specific ideas and practices that have shaped our current understanding of planned spaces as part of meaningful social, cultural and economic activities. The module engages with critical texts so that students can explore the relationship between theory and practice and develop an understanding of how designed spaces are created and situated as cultural responses to modernity.

The second year focuses on interior design processes. Projects included the development of a hotel linked to the International Space Station and the redesign of transport links in collaboration with Transport for London.
The objective of this module is to provide students with an understanding of professional practice issues and scenarios closely related to interior design. Major areas focus on selection and specification and project management. It goes without saying that one of the tasks of an interior designer is to select and specify furniture, fixtures and fittings (FFE), as well as lighting, color and finishes. These choices naturally have a huge impact on the interior and must reflect sensitivity and appropriateness to the context. It is also understood that significant efforts have been made to formalize the practice of interior design and bring it closer to recognized professional practices, and architecture is an example in particular. The practice of interior design is examined in detail.
