These activities are things you can set up when your child comes to you and says, “I’m bored.” Most of them take 5 minutes or less to set up. And while it’s hard to predict how long your child will play with the activity, chances are they’ll be playing with these ideas for more than 5 minutes!

You need mega blocks. Set up an indoor jumping field for your child with their mega blocks. This is a simple active activity that your child can help prepare with you!

You need pillows and cars or trucks. Create a pillow path for your little ones favorite trucks and cars.

You need toilet paper and toys. Take a roll of toilet paper, unroll it and place a toy at the end. Invite your little roll to try again to keep the toy from falling.

Indoor Activities For Kids: Rainy Days Don’t Stand A Chance…

You will need a light, paper and a marker. Write his name on a piece of paper with circles under each letter. Invite your child to place a snack in each circle and have them identify each letter and its sound. When taking snacks and eating, repeat the same.

You will need a sock and a wooden puzzle. Place the wooden puzzle pieces inside a large sock and have your child reach inside to find the pieces and complete the puzzle.

You will need animals and small ziplock bags. Place the animals inside and invite your child to open them and release them.

Sensory Play Ideas For Kids

You will need pompoms or sponges and two containers and water. Find out how to set it up here.

Grab some rubber bands and invite your child to pull them around your feet. Don’t use too much and remove them immediately after playing. It is a good practice to put on socks. You can also use scrunchies!

You will need pom poms, mega blocks and clips. Turn your mega blocks upside down and use them to sort with pom poms.

Do you serve snacks? Why not turn it into an activity. All you need is thread and an embroidery needle and enough soft snacks to thread
